maryWolf House blog update. In which I have emotions, as Audz and Erinna would say.
Next time I play with that site, I'll add a proper cosplay page so I can put up everyone's awesome amazingness. I still can't believe that this is a thing that people do for words I wrote.
Am currently at work conference. Had a work dinner thing last night which meant I got to dress up like I'm classy and eat things that were delicious and listen to smart people give speeches about smart things. It was pretty awesome, because I got assigned a table full of drunk Queenslanders. I love Melbourne with all my heart, but there's a particular no-bullshit abrasiveness in Brisbane people that I really adore as well. And after the Indigenous Welcome to Country ceremony there was a response from the Māori people in the audience, with singing. Any night out which involves singing is A+.
