Cookiedough prompted me with Kurt, loss of limbs.
Uses the bingo square "loss of limbs / limb function".
Making a list of affirmations is a distressingly Rachel Berry-like thing to do, but since the hospital doesn't have any DVDs Kurt is interested in, and he's already read all the Vogue back issues his dad brought in several times, it's something to fill the time up with until physical therapy in the afternoon.

Not A List Of Affirmations
- Aimee Mullins (double amputee) modelled for Alexander McQueen.
- Mr Shue's wheelchair experiment last year made it abundantly clear that I am already adept at steering one.
- Kiera Brinkley (quadruple amputee) performed at Juilliard.
- There are a variety of fashionable boot options available which accomodate prosthetic legs.
- Not being able to easily live in the basement (at least until you've for the hang of walking with a prosthesis) means having to move into a room on the ground floor. Which means a new room to redecorate.
- Gaga's Paparazzi offers multiple high-fashion looks for injury recovery and ongoing disability.
- It's always useful to have a moving story of overcoming adversity for use on Barbara Walters, Chelsea Lately, Oprah, etc.
- Face, arms, hair are all undamaged.
- If I need a modified car to drive, Dad will probably give me one despite recent attempt to put him on rapid detox diet.
- Coach Sylvester says she can get me endorsement deals for shoes if I can get back to Cheerios standards by next year.
- If I can't get back to Cheerios standards by next year, then it doesn't matter. Two legs or one leg, I'm Kurt Hummel, and the rules of someone else's game don't apply to me.
- I am destined for more than anybody in this town imagines.
